ANA- Hawai'i was formed by nurses who wanted to stay connected to the American Nurses Association after the Hawaii Nurses Association chose to severe its longstanding relationship with the ANA. These nurses valued and understood the importance of membership in the national organization that advocates for nurses across the spectrum; develops nursing standards and defends the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Individuals belong to ANA as Individual Direct members and are then are joined together as members of ANA- Hawai'i, a chapter of the American Nurses Association. Nurses enjoy the full benefits of ANA - including discount programs, free continuing education and ANCC certification discounts - while staying connected to their fellow Hawai'i nurses through list serves and special events.
ANA- Hawai'i is in its early stages and we need nurses like you to help develop and build a strong ANA presence in the Aloha state. Join us.
